Description
Styled in black, the QSC AcousticDesign AD-S402T-BK is a loudspeaker that houses four 2.5" treated paper cone woofers. It is capable of handling 60W with 100V systems and 30W with 70V systems. Use the loudspeaker for transportation terminals, court houses, lecture halls, or any other space where vocal intelligibility is a prime concern. With an IP54 rating for dust and water, the speaker can operate in indoors or outdoors scenarios.
The loudspeaker is constructed out powder coated aluminum with stainless steel hardware. A proprietary PTT network has been employed to ensure a precise, consistent sound as well as directivity control. Thanks to its low-loss, low-saturation transformer with selectable taps, including a bypass for low-impedance applications, the AD-S402T-BK maintains an accurate frequency response across its 110 Hz to 20 kHz range.
Connections are made by means of a locking 4-pole Euroblock with an attached wire sealing gland nut for direct cable attachments. Installation is a breeze thanks to the quick-hang pan/tilt mounting bracket.
